Don't have sex with slutty women or men and you wont get HIV. If you are banging a chick on the first date, she is not wife material and you should wear a rubber. Good women wait until they have been dating the person for awhile and the best women wait until cohabitation or even marriage.

As a bit of a gambler, I like these odds.
The risk of contracting HIV during vaginal penetration, for a woman in the United States, is 1 per 1,250 exposures (or 0.08 percent); for the man in that scenario, it’s 1 per 2,500 exposures (0.04 percent, which is the same as performing fellatio).

Seriously, I enjoy worry-free chastity. There are many other diseases out there as well. HIV may be treatable, but the meds are a bitch. I often wonder if even the a hedonist with HIV wouldn't have enjoyed life more without both the sex & HIV.

56 words before you got to marriage, yet my mother and both grandmothers all married their first loves. All the women in my family did, that I know of. We are so fucked now.

"PrEP" stands for PRe-Exposure Prophylaxis, which is essentially where you take HIV medications regularly (specifically Truvada, the brand name for a combo of two drugs) despite not having HIV. This is done to prevent an HIV exposure from becoming an HIV infection.
