I was thinking maybe we could have a weekly meta thread, discussing how the new patch is working. Who is stronger now, who is weaker, what comp seems to be the new focus on the patch, hidden OP champs etc etc.

I actually just made a post but ill comment here too.

I think the main problem with r/leagueoflegends was it was so cluttered.

If you wanted to see LCS content you had to filter through the big plays and misc discussion. And vis versa

So for Voat, I created (and suggest using) the v/LCS subverse for the e-sport related content of league of legends (post-match discussions, team roster changes, etc.) and use v/leagueoflegends for the content more directly related to the game itself (awesome plays, PBE updates, new material). That way if you wanted to see and talk about LCS stuff you know straight where to go.

This, so much. Please. I abandoned /r/leagueoflegends because it was drowning in LCS stuff and had little to no actual game-related content. And now it already looks like this is happening to /v/leagueoflegends. Can we please split the pro-scene stuff off or have the option to filter it out, so that those of us who just like playing the game and don't give a hoot about the pros have somewhere to discuss it?

I don't think we need more rules actually.

We are still a too small community for that. The system of upvote / downvote can do the work for now.

The only new rule that i would find relevant is to ban very low effort content like raw rants or OK rammus thread. Besides that, i think we can rule ourselves with upvote

Edit : In the CSS Overhaul, the picture of Yellowstar should be removed. I think we should have something more generic in there.

I can help for the css if it's needed, i'm a web developper. Hit me up if interested

I agree with the yellowstar picture, it really does look out of place

I agree too, no images and relevant content is way enough for the moment. The community is still building up, you want to put more rules when the community is too big, right now you want it to grow!

I agree on the rules front. Too many rules is part of what made that other league sub into a shitty place. Let subscribers handle good and bad content with voats.

Thanks for the work !

Is there any chance we can get a "Disable opacity" for the CSS ? I like the background, but it's bugging me to put my cursor on the content. I know we can use Stylebot but some company don't allow extension installation. Besides, phones don't have the ability to "put a cursor on the content" so it's pretty hard to read the sub's content.

I agree, this is one of the most annoying features of the subverse, sometimes I have the sub's content in another window or screen and my mouse on another, and I would still like to read the content but its really hard when it turns so opaque. I'd suggest just removing it completely.

Yeah, i would just remove that 'feature'. I find it kind of annoying and i see no purpose in making the content transparent when i move my cursor away from it. Other than that, i really like the current Overhaul and I'm looking forward for the next update!

I'd love to have the transparency gone too. Just my cent.
