Bass is to be commended for fighting establishments that attract crime and other problems in city.

Bit of horseshit here. Little corner stores don't generate crime, it's just they're either an easy target or the only target.

But the portion of her bill that would eliminate bulletproof glass — a sensible protection for employees — has no clear connection to her broader proposal. And Bass’ complaint that customers suffer “indignity” because of the bulletproof glass is nothing short of ridiculous. By the same token, don’t security cameras and security guards also push “indignity”? Aren’t they signals to customers that they aren’t necessarily trusted to abide by the law? Of course, she doesn’t have to pay for more security guards and cameras.

Absolute fact. Businesses have a duty to protect their interests, and that includes the well-being of the staff. It's more than a duty when it's a little family business and it's your kin in the line of fire.

Most stores will have some kind of insurance for stafff and liability. Most insurance companies will not insure these stores due to high risk, no security, and no collateral. So even if the store owner wants to stay open, they wont be able to, since one robbery or crime spree is enough to end them.

Remove the niggers and you wouldn't need the glass. Remove the glass and you are just going to get stores closing down.

korean store owners are providing a service to the black community and yet are now being punished for it along with having their safety jeopardized. They have every right to leave if they do this to them.

I'm not saying they don't.

The lengths they go to, to avoid addressing the problem never cease to amaze me. Let alone accept any responsibility for your children's actions, "They cut after-school programs." "There are no jobs." "I can't be expected to know where my kids are 24/7."

This is a black politician embarrassed by her own race. It's not the fault of the stores.

“the plexiglass has to come down.”

Blacks are authoritarian every time they get in power. What right do they have to hinder someone trying to protect themselves.

Here's an idea... end all welfare then let people use weapons to defend themselves. No more fucking handouts. You want to survive with no education? Go to work picking fruit or building roads... otherwise starve to death.

NEVER EVER gonna happen, business have to abide by federal niggr laws, but they do not have to be victims. this falls under the 4th amendment. the government can not encroach in how people live or do business. providing they arent refusing service to niggers and meximelts, all is good.

this will never pass, and if it does....blacks will have even less businesses to go to. because store owners will simply pull out. why do democrats want to destroy the poor so much?

Ahem, we are talking about the city which was caught committing fraud using public education funds, committing fraud propping up the DNC, defrauding the federal govt through proxy taxes(Soda tax, secondary income tax, EITC), commiting housing fraud by creating "tax free" housing abatements. You get the picture...

Meximelt is a Taco Bell item. I’m not even sure if they sell anymore. But when I was in high school 25 years ago we thought it was hilarious to call Mexican people Meximelts

The pivot to targeting Korean store owners was brilliant
