For US Citizens, you need to consider this:

Congress passed a law creating the Office of Antiboycott Compliance within the Department of Commerce in 1977. The law prohibits U.S. persons from taking certain actions in support of an unsanctioned foreign boycott against a country that is friendly to the United States.

I'm not a lawyer, but I have worked at companies that sold goods, wherein if a customer asked for specific information of where an item was made, we had to stop the conversation. No sale.

What penalties you might face, I do not know.

That seems crazy to stop the conversation if a customer asked specific information on where a product is made. Consumers should always have the right to know what they are buying and where it was made.

I'm from Israel. Hamas once bought a dead goat they found in my old out-house for some Palestinian ritual. I don't mind if they don't buy anymore.
