Indeed. A Liveleak comment:
The linked article says it's a $2 128MB memory stick that shows up as a 500GB drive and only saves the last 128MB of whatever you copy to it. They're hoping people will save backups to it and not realize they didn't save properly until it's too late to get a refund.

I've seen steel bought from China, every piece was meant to be solid lengths of 4 inch thick square formed steel but nearly everything was basically a pipe filled with water and sealed shut by someone who was very good at welding. My friend who thought he got a good deal only realized this after trying to cut a piece using a chop saw and this deep redbrown water came flowing out, he was basically sold box steel that was filled with water and capped off in such a way to look like they were solid pieces.

Aliexpress is a garbage-site. People ordering anything from it are just asking to be ripped off.
FastTech is decent, though. I've actually ordered a lot of good stuff from there. It takes almost three weeks to ship it from China to the US, but you can order things closer up the supply chain and save tons of money. Just don't buy anything that says, "styled," as it's cloned garbage.

I deal with testing Chinese usb drives at work. That usb stick will fail any commercial read and verify test. The silly shits had the balls to tell me I'm testing it wrong, better to use their ripoff testing rigs. You can't prove to then how shit the product is, they won't accept the truth. Don't buy Chinese anything. period.

What a neat way to smuggle anchor bolts.
