I'm leaving everything I have ever known in two weeks to start a new life 1,000 miles away. Hopefully in one year, I will be able to say that was the best decision I've ever made.

I recently left a job I was very happy at to start my own company based around a project I was really passionate about. It was scary at first but we recently secured a decent chunk of funding. It's a lot of hard work but it feels liberating to do your own thing.

I started working out about a month and a half ago and now I have more energy than ever in my life. An hour post-workout when fully recovered I feel a high comparable to the high cocaine creates.

I did manual labor part time for many years throughout highschool. Manual Labor sucks ass, but that feeling hard work is great- now I'm lazy, but I did enough physical activity for the next 20 years of my life anyways, so I'm good.

I was offered an opportunity to help develop a course for my undergrad university. It wound up taking full time hours for a full summer but wound up being incredibly worth it and acted as a major catalyst to get me to where I am today. I imagine you'd be able to piece together the subject by looking at my username.

Moved more than a 2000 miles away from home- for work. (Much better atmosphere as well)

Good thing is- it worked, I'm employed

Bad thing is- There is not bad, those thinking about moving far away for the first time to a new place, go do it.

Edit: It's been well over a year since I moved, and it's been great. My advice if to find a place that has a good economy. I couldn't even get a job at a gas station, I moved, and got into IT (my passion), There is no substitute for ambition.

Taking a risk and going on interviews for a new internship instead of asking to work at my old one.

I loved the first company I worked for, but I wouldn't give the experience that I've been able to have for the world.
