Someone has to sell drugs to the customers and guess who does that? Black people. Although, I do agree cops should spend time arresting the white users buying weed and other shit. That puts them at a higher search rate by the police, if they are interested in reducing crime. Face it, black people are the street level drug dealers feeding the drug habits of white people...That is their job. If you don't like it, then maybe opening the borders for muslims will put you guys out of business. muslims would probably do a better job, don't have to put up with all the other crimes like carjackings and home invasions. Just go to a 7-11 and buy your shit.

To start with, I think black people in America have very legitimate grievances, especially when it comes to the war on drugs. That being said, I get pissed off at articles like this saying that this translates into white privilege.

My two main points on this subject in general and this article in particular are:

A. These points are describing black disadvantage more so than white privilege. Those are not identical concepts.

B. The vast majority of white people (>98%?) have negligible influence on the criminal justice system. We are not police officers or attorneys or judges and we seldom sit on juries.

For point A, how does all of this benefit the average white person? The author points out that 32% of black males will go to jail at least once during their lifetime, which means that 68% would not. Since the author implies that 32% of black males going to jail at least once is too high, can we say that at least 68% of whites should not be going to jail too? What benefit or privilege therefore is extended to them by having black people who don’t belong in jail go to jail? At the absolute low end, 68% of white people do not benefit from having too many black people in jail, and if anything would have to pay more taxes.

Another way to think about point A is you could swap out white in the article and replace it with Asian and while the numbers would change some, the overall disadvantage to blacks would still remain.

For point B, how many people do you know have sat on a jury that featured a black defendant? My immediate family and I have about 200 years of adulthood between us. In all that time we have served on exactly 1 jury, and that was decades ago and did not involve a black defendant. Some could argue that people could stop supporting politicians who are tough on crime, but people vote for many reasons, not just crime.

Even the 14th point there that talks about job applicants. What percentage of whites ever make hiring decisions? I’m guessing it is less than 10%. Even if the rest of us could influence a hiring decision, I doubt most whites have much influence or many opportunities to use that influence.

In addition to these two main points, here are some more things to bring up.

With regards to the public defender issue, Colin Flaherty did an interview with an attorney who had served as a public defender. It’s anecdotal but sometimes anecdotes are much better than stats https://youtu.be/Ry8m4rUEHu8

For point two, police stop black people at approximately the same rate that suspect descriptions are reported to them. As an example, if witnesses describe a suspect as black 50% of the time in a given area, it isn’t racist if 50% of the people arrested or investigated are black. I don’t have the source for this but I saw it on the internet so it must be true.

niggers commit 70% of gun crime. A nigger is literally 100x more likely to be shot by another nigger than by a cop.

Attack the source. Call the author names. Use other statistics out of context to obfuscate. Use racial epithets say "because". Hold minorities accountable for not being able to swim laps with anchors around their necks. Talk in circles. Avoid any of the points raised. Bottom line, create confusion.
