Someone who is out of shape will need to drop the inclined push ups and do sets of 10 for everything. Hip thrusts? really? what year? Also lunge-walking lol. Ok bruh.
Push ups. Crunch/Sit ups (crunch then all the way up, then down, then release crunch). Body weight squats. These are all muscle building resistance exercises. Also sit ups should alternate elbow to opposite knees when you get there so that you work the lats on the full sit up part.
If you want to lose fat fast you do HIITS. That is where shit like '8 min abs' comes from. Do literally any physical aerobic exercise (e.g. sprinting) as hard as you can. So hard that you physically cannot do it after 30-90 seconds. Then you rest for a comparable amount of time. Then you do it again. Try to get up to 10 full minutes but start with 5 or 6.

Convict Conditioning was one of the best work out programs I've ever used. Definitely the strongest I have been. Body weight training is where its at because it doesn't just work the muscles but improves tendon strength along with it for more functional strength. It is a garbage article with a good idea.

The bun and the fries are the real problem... And also eating EVERY MEAL. And don't try to go jogging or whatever other overly ambitious exercise you have stuck in your brain... Losing weight and being fit isn't about abusing your body. If you're a fat sack of shit, walk. Walk a lot. Transition to hills when that gets easier, Just eating less, eating real food and walking will do wonders. If you didn't need to bring water for your walk, you aren't walking far enough.

So this is essentially the exercises we had to do every single morning in the military, although there was also jumping jacks in the mix. I assume that a walking lunge is what we called "Iron Mikes", but I have no idea what a hip thrust is, and anything I imagine doesn't seem like it would do much for the abs.
Any insight on this?

Hip thrusts - think doggy style.
