About 75% of that trip would have you pass thousands of people along the way who would cut your throat as soon as wave hello.
Can we get /pol/ to convince the left this is a walk for peace?
You could get a straight-line walk of almost 9800 miles from Burma to Mexico, skimming the shoreline of the Sea of Okhotsk. About 100 miles of that would have to cross sea ice in the Bering sea; first at a bay in Russia, and again at the Bering strait. There's is precedent though for crossing the Bering strait on foot.

is it really a straight line or it only seems so on this particular projection?

Does that assume we can walk on water? It looks to go through the Nile Delta and the Caspian Sea...which could be troubling if your name isn't Jesus Christ.
