That one is easy enough. If they concede to Trump's points, people will start listening to him and avoiding the BBC. It's really a matter of the BBC fucking themselves over, and now have two crappy choices, either a) promote Trump's points and look too far to the right or b) double down on their current points, and maintain face

I listen to a few BBC funded podcasts like "the economist" for a few months there was a lot of under the breathe snickering as they would talk about president trump. Lately though as they have started to understand how trump speaks compared to their leaders. There seems to be less snickering and more "oh shit he is actually getting shit done" unlike our leaders.
Its not gossip journalism anymore they are actually talking about shit that matters.
