I only like them when they're like this. It helps me spot them from a distance so I can take the necessary evasive action.

Their own name on their neck.... Address on their ass and social security number on their balls.

I honestly think that looks nice, but I agree that the type of person who would get it is probably pretty unsavory.

I don't care for them, personally. I see some that are really cool sometimes, but they just seem .. I dunno .. tacky. No matter how cool they look, it's still a doodle on your body. Something about tats on a chick scream "Use a condom! Use two!"

Haha, I totally get you. In all seriousness though, never use two condoms as it makes a break more likely.

I don't have any tattoos but if I ever found myself with more money than sense, there are a few messages from literate and philosophy as well as a few classic symbols that I'd enjoy.

Tattoos are the new Dane Cook. They were REALLY popular for a while, and now it's becoming fashionable to hate them.

Any you get should have cultural or personal significance, but there are a lotta idiots who think "the logo of my favorite sports team" qualifies as personally significant.

I think the "bumper sticker on a Ferrari" analogue is pretty dumb - a good tattoo artist knows how to incorporate the natural curves and angles of their subject's body as part of the overall aesthetic. But not all tattoo artists are good.

I live in Portland. Tattoos basically just mean you have a job here. As they're moderately expensive and very popular. I get where you're coming from based on my travels though.

Ugly and a sign of poor impulse control and bad breeding.

I think it's just cultural, dude. Most people I know who get tatoos spend months to find an artist and get an appointment. Then carefully design it with the artist. There's nothing impulsive about it.

I've never seen an old tattoo that looked good.

My opinion is entirely based on the reason the tattoo was made. However like 80% of tattoos are made just for vanity and that makes them trashy.

Tattoos should have a deep meaning to the person, like military who have the marks for their fallen comrades, or cultural and family tattoos.

Yeah, the ones I'd get have deep cultural/philosophical significance to me. I'll probably get drunk and do it at some point since I've got plenty of money.
