What's wrong with reading fiction?

It's frivolous and doesn't directly advance your life. In moderation I don't mind it too much, but expending significant amounts of time/money/energy on it is unseemly to me.

Ugly and a sign of poor impulse control and bad breeding.

I think it's just cultural, dude. Most people I know who get tatoos spend months to find an artist and get an appointment. Then carefully design it with the artist. There's nothing impulsive about it.

I've never seen an old tattoo that looked good.

Not only a waste of money but also an eyesore. If you had nice house would you spray paint outside walls even with most beautiful mural? Likely no.IMHO they are horrible use of body ,especially on women. They are for sailors and /or convicts who have too much time and nothing to do.

Tribal, if it's part of your culture and if you're in the Navy.
Other than that, trashy. Especially on women....so fucking trashy.

Kinda cool if you have one or two, but if you have a sleeve or are a female with upper chest and neck etc. You look like a brainless idiot.

People who have more than one tat and are not in a full time gang position do it for one reason and one reason only- they are addicted to the endorphin rush. Modern self flagellants. Self cutting with "artistic" results. Usually a sign of depression.
