Definitely get off it. It blocks steroidogenesis.

You can try DGL - deglycyrrhizinated licorice. Glycyrrhizin is a triterpene glycoside that fucks with enzymes that convert cortisone <-> cortisol. Chew well and swallow 20 minutes before meals. It promotes mucus generation in the stomach. It's worth a try. I used it to heal an ulcer I had. Follow up endoscope showed it worked a charm.

Thank you for the advice. Never heard of using white vinegar. I've heard people using apple cider vinegar. Just thinking of vinegar and I can imagine that acid feel. But I have tried apple cider a couple times and the reaction wasn't negative, so that's positive I guess.

What is the source of your GERD? Doctors like to prescribe shit for symptoms and often nevee get to the cause.

Its my diet. I can eat anything and stay the same weight so I don't eat the healthiest. I'm trying to change that, I quit soda cold turkey. But it's hard to change diet when everything causes you agony. I need an alternative to assist the diet/life style change.

You might want to see a dietician and get into a low acid diet. Quitting soda is good a start.
