What other alternative there is? Google's algorithm and db is really really good, it is really hard to move away without a better search engine. Bing and Yandex is closer but I'm pretty sure Bing censors too and Yandex is more suitable for queries in Russian language.

Google is guilty of a lot of evils but most of these claims I see against them are garbage from people who don't know about SEO, how search engines work, and why sites like Twitter and Reddit are so high up in the rankings. You are simply assuming evil behavior when really it's much more complex than that. The bigger sites usually are much better about including meta tags and being fully optimized to display relevant content. They are then linked to more than others. This all effects the information displayed.

That said, give DuckDuckGo a try. It's interesting to compare results but keep in mind that even a subtle, innocent difference in algorithm may yield very different results.

That's how it used to be. Something changed. Can't say when, but something did change.

When you cant get google to auto complete ANY trending phrase about hillary but typing tr gives you 25 negative trump phrases there is an issue. That much is for sure.

They have been caught manipulating search results repeatedly and have even admitted to it.

I think you need to shut up.

You don't get a polite response, because shills have no soul and are not part of the kingdom of God.

Robots will be cast into hell with the rest of the trash.

The problem isn't so much shills are much as it is fanboys. Everyone on voat is so quick to shout "shill!", but I don't think it's as complicated as that. We have a lot of people here who love their services, who love their convenience, and it makes it hard to genuinely swap away from things.

Take the Google Chrome alternative, Iridium. They've pulled out most of the Google code (Good), but haven't offered an alternative to the features which they ripped out. There's no bookmark sync, they do weird shit like disable cookies, and their default search is "Qwant"; which is fucking garbage for results. These are conveniences that people want to have, and make the web-quality of life better.

I use a Chromium-based browser, because certain addons which make it easier for me to avoid OTHER Google services, such as youtube. An extension called "switcheroo", automatically replaces youtube with hooktube (even in scripts!) on everything I visit so that I don't give YouTube anything, and I still use their bandwidth.

I know that Google is extremely liberal. I know people who have worked there. Google has tried to hire me before.

They are very biased and it shows in their actions. But probably at least 90% of these claims are not dilberate actions at all.

And I use Google as little as possible. I start on Duck Duck Go. If I really can't find something, I'll try Google. I think Google is an evil company and do not want to work for them.

I thought your title was a command and not an conclusion, so I googled "pieces of shit are hiding independent sources", and it took me to google.

They are censorong new or independently owned websites. I made a site recently for VR, and holy shit is it nearly impossible to get anywhere near the top results, which consist of pure crap from jew sites. They are killing the personal website.

Make me wonder about their new headphones. The downfall speach would sound like a Hillary rally, as wound an nra speach, also a Trump speach, or actual racial rant.

Would normal talk be translated to Spanish or other?

Talking about Apple or Samsung would auto translate to Google:Motorola.

Just imagine how they can bring the world together for Google.

Google is indeed hiding anything that's not mainstream media or their own stuff. But they are a private company; why is their business the government's fault? Find another search engine, move on.

Because concealment or substitution of information is a criminal offence.

How should law dictate search engine results? That is such a bad idea on so many levels. If a page isn't crawled and thus not displayed, are they guilty of a criminal act?
