Are -- It will be a while before I can check into the Vanity Fair article and what Dylan herself has said about what happened at that time. And old reports of what happened in regard to Mia's discovery and what babysitters actually said.

Also, remember that Mia begins to become concerned about Allen's relationship with Dylan -- and as I recall it so are others concerned.
At this time she has no suspicion that it could be a sexual interest in Dylan. Mia is simply concerned with his intense interest in Dylan and he involves a psychologist - Coates:

“I did not see it as sexual, but I saw it as inappropriately intense because it excluded everybody else, and it placed a demand on a child for a kind of acknowledgment that I felt should not be placed on a child.”>

It's rather shocking that Coates didn't consider sexual abuse as the most common form of sexual abuse is incest - Father molesting daughter.

What has to be filled in here, as well, is that Woody would take Dylan to his apartment, I believe. And would take her into his bed where inappropriate fondling, at the least would occur. Don't recall how this is known, but it is not based on Dylan's report. But friends/acquaintances had very definitely noticed Allen's strange and inappropriate behavior with Dylan.

Also as I begin to recall various parts of the story --

Even though Allen was accused of grooming and molesting Soon-Yi, the way he allegedly did with adopted daughter Dylan Farrow, both he and Soon-Yi have denied the accusation.

Actually, as I recall it, Moses had noticed Woody's over-attentiveness to Soon-Yi and was concerned that Soon-Yi wasn't capable of understanding or defending herself.

However, whether Soon-Yi was part time at school, she was still technically living in the home Mia Farrow provided for all of her children. She was still Soon-Yi's Mother. And certainly Soon-Yi was aware that Mia and Woody had an on going relationship for a 12 year period. Soon-Yi had been adopted when she was 7-8 years old by Mia and then husband Previn. But she would have been living with Mia in that home for most of the time of that 12 year period when Mia and Woody were involved.

December 17, 1991: With Farrow’s willing consent, Allen formally adopts Moses Amadeus Farrow and Dylan Farrow

Believe this is just about the time when Woody's affair with Soon-Yi Previn begins.

January 1992: Mia Farrow finds intimate Polaroids of her (adopted) daughter Soon-Yi Previn, age 20, under a box of tissues on the mantle in Allen’s Manhattan apartment. After confronting Soon-Yi and confirming the affair, she tells all but the youngest children what she has learned.>

The question of the Polaroids is also very important because they were not simply nude photos. They were pornographic.

Mr. Allen, testifying as the half-dozen snapshots were entered into evidence, said the photographs of 22-year-old Ms. Previn, his current lover and the adopted daughter of Ms. Farrow, his former lover, were intended to be erotic. He defended them as a matter between consenting adults. He resisted suggestions by Ms. Farrow's lawyer, Eleanor B. Alter, that the photographs were pornographic.

The idea of taking the photographs was Ms. Previn's, Mr. Allen said, but he suggested the revealing poses. "I said, 'Lay back on the sofa. Give me your most erotic poses. Let yourself go,' " he said. Cameras and Microphones http://www.nytimes.com/1993/03/23/nyregion/nude-photographs-are-focus-of-woody-allen-s-testimony.html

This certainly sounds like a young (immature) girl being groomed. And what we usually hear from MALES who are our sexual abusers of children.

And ...

On Thursday, Mr. Allen and Mr. Abramowitz said that a team of investigators from Yale-New Haven Hospital had concluded that Dylan was not molested. Mr. Abramowitz predicted that the team's written report, which was not made public, would weigh heavily in Mr. Allen's favor in the custody dispute. 'Incomplete and Inaccurate'

Ms. Alter called the report "incomplete and inaccurate" last week, and she accused the hospital team of overlooking crucial evidence. Prosecutors in Connecticut, where the abuse was said to have taken place, have yet to decide whether to bring criminal charges against Mr. Allen.>

Thought it rather odd that YALE would be involved rather than pediatricians who had always treated the children, especially because -- as I recall it -- Woody was a large contributor to Yale.

Earlier in the day, Mr. Allen testified that at the time Ms. Farrow first accused him of molesting their adopted daughter, Dylan O. Farrow, 7 years old, he was also accused of molesting their 5-year-old son, Satchel O. Farrow. Outside the courtroom, the film director's lawyer, Elkan Abramowitz, said that the fact that Ms. Farrow never pursued the charge of abuse against Satchel proved that it was false and cast doubt on all her other claims.>

We also don't know why Mia might have not pursued the accusation that Woody also abused Satchel/Ronan Farrow. It would be interesting to hear her explanation.

There are many interesting articles on this case -- And I've read most of them. But I don't think you can ignore the Vanity Fair article or what Dylan has written about being molested by Woody.

When I find the Vanity Fair article and have a chance to review it, I'll give you a link to it.
