For people who are alarmed by this news - don't be.

When an earthquake occurs, when that part of the fault is "unlocked", that means that stress in the earth's crust is relieved. It means that a bigger earthquake won't be happening at that location.

It also means the fault is moving, which may mean stress is building up elsewhere, where the fault is still locked. Or it may not. Without more information, the danger level indicated by an earthquake swarm is meaningless, and getting hysterical about it is silly.
