Thoughts from a homemaker:

Well I have also found myself moving the lawn, preparing the plant beds for planting and harvesting, making minor repairs to issues around the house.

Prepping, arranging outings for the children. Tending to the animals and generally whatever needs relating their care.

Clothes repair, alterations and care. Education building, music lessons. Physical exercises and teaching responsibility through managing the children's tasks.

Yip it's endless really and I am sure there is more, but working hard together is what families should do. It helps build character and allows for bonding.

There is this old saying, if you don't work, you dont eat.

Lol, this and work as if you are working for the LORD helps to push things forward.

Generally, women find this more fulfilling than working for some business.

I dont know about generally speaking, but as for myself it is the most rewarding, complex, and downright fulfilling job I have had, whilst building character. When I go to work for an establishment it's like having a break compared to working at home. From publishing to IT to Education or recruitment. Homework has more layers to it and as a whole effects your community more directly and effectively through your family.

Lol, the truth of my inadequacies are never hidden by others. It's hardcore but cool in so many ways. Sometimes it's a mess, but character building helps to keep plowing away and moving forward. :)

Damn. I thought of putting food/cooking before I made the post, but then I forgot to put it.

Perhaps that is a reasonable compromise.
