Undoubtedly programmed, but the JFK non-investigation was just as inept.
There was such an excellent documentary done on the JFK investigation. It was done right after the murder. The people the police talked to were in it, including the man that insisted Harvey was in his store ... or walked by his store. I don't remember. I saw it on TV and I've never seen it again so I don't know what the title was. Then there's John Kennedy, Jr. Another murder. That's my opinion. And Pierre Salinger was harassed and made to look like a "conspiracy theorist". Yes, the mainstream news was corrupt even back then.

I've watched a lot of true crime documentaries. They use these kinds of tactics and sometimes people will admit to things they didn't even do. They would keep them for hours and hours and wear them down. It's so wrong.
