It runs a lot, stick welding it in position is not for amateurs honestly.
I've seen 14%+ tubs of liquid chlorine stand up to pitting for years bfr needing patch work, it performs well in caustic environments too. But it's not indestructible. ..

Well I wouldn't exactly call it sheet metal but yeah, the transitions are 2 laser cut pieces we bent diagonally & welded together along with flanges & access doors.

There's one of these at either ends of the main screw conveyor.
