I keep getting Jane Austen Knits issues for Xmas so all of my WIPs are Jane Austen themed right now. :)
Mistress of Donwell Abbey in KP Capretta Regal. These have been on my needles for almost 6 months and I'm about 50 rounds away from finishing the second one. So close but the 7 stitch cable is really fiddly!
Emma's Chemise in KP Capra Harbor. I'm doing it top-down with a raglan cap sleeve instead of bottom up and sleeveless.

Jane Austen themed knitting I think I just found my life's calling!

I'm working on a tie for a co-worker mini rant ensuing - it was sitting on my kitchen table while I had some family over, my sister (21f) picked it up and started knitting while she had no idea what she was doing, or even asking if it was alright.

... How is that even possible?!? I mean, it's like graffiti but in knitting! :o

I know! I may have had a small meltdown about it, the words "uncultured" and "how could you" come to mind..

I have a cushion I've been making forever - ran out of wool and have been to lazy to get more. This post may have encouraged me to order wool!

Do iiit... more wool is good... better buy a few extra skeins of something in preparation for another project too... and maybe some wool that's on sale just in case... more wool! :D

I've got a rainbow afghan on the hook because I ran out of black, and a Dragon Watcher's Hood that is kind of brewing, as I finished the hood part but not the icord, but I used size 19 needles instead of 15s and I'm see-sawing on whether or not to frog the whole thing and start again with smaller needles or let it be gigantic.

Have you seen this i-cord machine?
[–] ithoughtiknewyou 0 points 2 points 2 points (+2|-0) ago
Omg I would make miles of that! And then use it as super bulky yarn!

Ooo. OOO. Those gloves are incredible. Dammit, I do not need more gloves and mittens! Or maybe the correct path forward is to use less tough yarn so they get destroyed faster...
Do you have a yellow that looks good on you? I can handle a deep mustard maybe, or an ironic fluorescent yellow. None of the pretty tones look good on me :(

I'm working on my first sweater! I'm doing twigs and willows from Botanical knits. I started knitting last September and this is definitely my biggest undertaking. :) I'm also working on the Mario transformation hat. I wanted to do that one to learn how to do the duplicate stitch. :)

Fly Away - A group of seniors at the local senior center is making shawls, lapghans for people in the hospital. My mom is the one that got a grant to buy yarn for them. The pattern wants DK weight yarn, but decided to do worsted weight for more of an adult size than baby.

Do I have to pick just one? I'm currently working on the Montgomery Scarf pattern. I'm making it with cheap stash acrylic just to practice the knits, purls, and yarn overs. I've been working on it since April, I mostly just pick it up at random when I feel the need to practice.
[–] Canuckensquid [S] 0 points 3 points 3 points (+3|-0) ago
Pick as many as you'd like! I'm also guilty of having many projects on the go at once :)
Yarn overs are sort of evil. I always mess up, go back and then mess up trying to get the number of stitches correct again.

My biggest issues with yarn overs is that they're so hard to tink. If I have to, I usually end up pulling out an extra row or two.
