It's an argument?

If you cared about people, you'd stay out of their way

Reminds me of Bastiat.

If the natural tendencies of mankind are so bad that it is not safe to permit people to be free, how is it that the tendencies of these organizers are always good? Do not the legislators and their appointed agents also belong to the human race? Or do they believe that they themselves are made of a finer clay than mankind?

Bastiat was such a boss. He knew that collectivist dystopia was coming and made tons of salient points on the subject before nearly anyone else understood what was going on.

Somebody say Bastiat!?

But, unfortunately, law by no means confines itself to its proper functions. And when it has exceeded its proper functions, it has not done so merely in some inconsequential and debatable matters. The law has gone further than this; it has acted in direct opposition to its own purpose. The law has been used to destroy its own objective: It has been applied to annihilating the justice that it was supposed to maintain; to limiting and destroying rights which its real purpose was to respect. The law has placed the collective force at the disposal of the unscrupulous who wish, without risk, to exploit the person, liberty, and property of others. It has converted plunder into a right, in order to protect plunder. And it has converted lawful defense into a crime, in order to punish lawful defense.

Frederic Bastiat, The Law

If you cared about people, you'd let them decide on their own decisions in life.

if they are so damned concerned about their "carbon footprint" who's stopping them from reducing their own? Let them live their own screed. Hell, encourage them to be an example... Maybe if we could get some sort of movement started we could be rid of some of these dipshits.

It's weak but it works. Just guilt trip people into having "compassion" for a mass of people who hate you, and you have Islam invading Europe, Spics spilling over the US border daily, and trannies in the military.

The thing about modern liberals is that they are operating under the assumption that if they could just get everyone to be on board with their ideas, they'd have some kind of utopia. The world they want is an impossible one where everyone is simultaneously free to do whatever they want and obligated to be so sensitive toward others they are paralyzed into doing nothing. It is the natural consequence of indefinite adolescence which was only made possible by the brutal struggles of previous generations. They were born into an era of such stability and plentiful resources they can't imagine a situation where they would have to either work or literally starve. It is as alien and fantastic to them as the Harry Potter books they filter their worldview through.

The youngest among them could be forgiven for such a position. It is a naturally occurring mentality for children to view everything through the lens of 'fairness' rather than practicality. It is all many of them have ever known, reinforced daily by nearly every influence they are exposed to from school teachers to all manner of (((media))). The ones who truly deserve the wrath are the older, liberals, the boomers, the cat ladies, the people who have lived long enough to know better. They are every one of them either dishonest or too stupid to be allowed to vote.

Of course, all of this would be a moot point and completely unnecessary to mention were it not for certain hostile alien tribes who worm their way into positions of power and influence through nepotism and completely unfettered in-group preference and self-interest. They then use this power and influence to warp the culture around them into one where they feel safe; a multi-culture where everyone is 'equal' and no one is singled out. Where every 'lifestyle' no matter how perverse or destructive it is to society as a whole must be permitted and unobstructed. They take advantage of the climate of peace and plenty to convince young people that nothing matters, that their choices should be made based on emotions and whatever feels good. This is the heart of modern liberalism.

No. They only care about certain particular groups "feelings". If you are a minority, they care about you're feelings (until of course it actually starts affecting their life. It's about looking in the mirror and telling themselves "I'm a nice person"). If you are a straight white Christian male. Your "feelings" are not only inconsequential, but not allowed to speak, have thoughts or feelings that do not agree. How dare you differ. In their mindset all humankind can be broken down into 3 groups, The "victim", the "champion" and the "victimizer". If you aren't on their victim list and you don't champion their victims causes, then you can guess what they will brand you as.

Yes, and it's not even true. They're interested in presenting themselves as humane, as they work to destroy those they actually view as lesser than.

They're wolves in sheeps clothing, and they use love, compassion and empathy as a weapon. That is true malevolence.

Sounds good. Why don't you get it started? The rest of us will follow your lead. We promise.
