Hi! Look into a high intensity workout. It really stimulated my metabolism, and helped me lose my beer belly. Bonus was my workouts only took about 30-45 min.

Count calories and work out. If your male gut will disappear in about 6 weeks of moderate to high exercise 4-5 times a week while maintaining a caloric intake of around 1600-2000 a day. For women the abdomen takes a little more exercise and a little more intake regulation to lose the gut.

Cut sugar intake.
Do pushups everyday.
Do no weight squats.
Do planks.

Not as important, and require equpiment, so more hassle.
