Civic nationalism is an oxymoron. Ethnonationalism is real nationalism, civic nationalism is fake nationalism.

What you say there, seems to me correct. The State is no nation but a constituted legal person, a signed paper document, a formal organization. And so legalists are lying when they talk about 'first nations', as if The State and the Citizenry (members) is some kind of 'nation 2.0'.

There are only nations and organizations. So you are right. 'Civic nationalism' is organizationalism... And its purpose is to crush the true nation, from 'above', using legality and jurisdiction. By Lemkin's own definition, this is genocidist. Legalists hate their own people and its societal structure.

I'd like to hear your reasoning behind believing this.

I have explained it before, look at how nation is defined

A historically constituted, stable community of people, formed on the basis of a common language, territory, economic life, ethnicity and/or psychological make-up manifested in a common culture. https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/nation

So we are talking about things like history and ethnicity. Not just a propositional country where belief in the Constitution is enough, were anyone can come here to find freedom and seek their fortune.

America is an actual nation, not merely an amalgamation of people united by belief. Anyway, the people we are bringing here don't share our beliefs, some of those who actually do, see the necessity of retaining the White American core of this country.
