Absolutely man. I love meeting fellow vets because when we tell each other that we're vets, it's like we immediately connect as brothers, mainly because we've all been through so much shit, regardless of what branch. I know we always shit on the Air Force or Coast Guard lol, but I know they go through their own shit, as well. I have so much respect for the Army and Marine Corps, simply because they go through the most shit. They're not just doing deployments overseas, but they're getting their asses chewed out constantly, whether it's in the morning during PT or while at work, doing their jobs. Served with members of all branches during my time in, especially the Marine Corps. There was a Marine Corps squadron attached to my ship (I was stationed onboard the USS Ronald Reagan) and some of them were good friends of mine at the time. Good people. We're all damaged, but the beautiful thing is that we can all put aside our differences and work together, because regardless of what branch, we're all on the same team - Team USA.
