While Im no pro on the american tax system, I am also not a novice. A lot of the strings I can pull here in Australia, can be pulled there in america. Often more so. There is ALWAYS something you can do. Even if its not within the system. You can, for example, pay someone in food and lodging. I am currently doing this with one worker of mine. If it was not on my personal property, I could even write off his expenses on tax and never pay him a thing for it. I understand this is just one example that probably does not work for you, but there is ALWAYS something. Always.

You will not be disappointed.

The key point from the book I wanted to highlight was as a child he worked for free at a retail store that had comic books. He worked there and hated it because he got nothing for it. But he was told that there is a way for him to make money somehow, there always is. In the end he found out that the comics were rotated and unsolds returned. He was allowed to take them home and start a mini library of comics. Although being the uncivilised children his customers were it did get out of hand.
