Egwene from wot deserves a slapping. Also that Richard guy from the sword of truth series. Oh and Cutter from malazan, let's not forget cutter...

I think if we start slapping people from the sword of truth, we'll never stop.

Same with Wheel of Time, while it was an enjoyable series there were certainly plenty of slapable people in that series. Of course with a series that long I think it is impossible not to get that urge.

Well, Nynave's braid tugging didn't help her character but she did do all kinds of badassery, and she is mostly concerned with the well being of her fellow two Rivers companions for whom she feels responsible. Can't go into egwene without spoiling and I have no idea how to do spoiler tags (on mobile atm). As for Richard, in the first book he is annoyingly naive and too morally sound. The moral high ground thing stays during the later books but gets sprinkled with a nice dose of fascism for those who disagree with him. I made it to book 4 though but the books in this series got progressively worse I think. Also the protagonist isn't the only problem this series has. Again don't want to spoil too much as some people might be reading and enjoying SOT.

No Lannisters or Joffrey from asoiaf? I'm surprised. Egwene from WoT gets my vote, though

Joffrey comes pre-slapped, for convenience.

I'd wear a certain fox medallion first, of course

Drothe from Tales of the kin needs a cuff to the back of the head every now and again, but in terms of in the face slap of contempt... probably Sadeas from Stormlight Archive.

Sergeant Hellian from the Malazan book of the fallen, you know to sober her up. But Hood's balls does she mount and excellent campaign when she's drunk, well drunk enough that is.

Tanis from Dragonlance. He broods, complains and never achieves anything, but people still look to him as a leader?

Griffith, no more words need to be said.

You are not wrong. Screw that guy.

Slapping him seems a bit lacking to be honest...
