No, TOR network, just like bitcoin can be controlled by a well funded entity.

all You have to do to control TOR is run more than 50% of the most trustworthy servers and with bitcoin all You have to do is control more than 20% of the blockchain.

Its not SJW, its controlled by the Virtue Signal deep state, never forget that every action that these entities take always has more than 1 goal.

I wonder how many of them are child porn hoarders and pedophiles... they almost seem protective of this behavior.

I don't think they are. I think they are smart and realise that if they don't make their 'stance now' they will be labelled alt right Nazi's and will start coming under attack. So they pre-emptively went "Hey look, I am a zombie too, no need to look over here". If they really cared they would do more lets face it.

The "Tor Project" is and always has been a US government operation. A fucking honeypot for idiots who don't make the obvious connection between Tor having been developed bu US Naval Intelligence and the shockingly unexpected trauma of darknet sites being taken down.

Fuck Tor for privacy. Stop being so naive.

If there was, there would not exactly be a big press conference about it.

They can't. It's impossible for the developers, or node operators, to interfere with the content of the network. The whole project would be pointless if it wasn't.
