In the current climate, it seems like the counter culture is deserving of a safe space designed for the whole reason, their in college; studying and preparing for a career. Activism running rampant gives off the impression of people going to college for activism.
Maybe instead of a refund, but there should be rules IMO the protect the general masses against people who solely do activism, and in turn causes all sorts of commotion. Booting those kinds out would get the message across.
Nope. It's America and they are allowed to act like asshats in areas that permit it so long as they aren't hurting anyone or damaging anything. You can't punish people for being annoying. But you can demand that you have a say in the atmosphere you're paying for. You go for education. If the place you're paying to educate you allows all groups, all people to speak so long as they aren't physically harming anyone, that's one thing. That's freedom of speech in a free land. Welcome to being a grown up. You're going to learn tolerance here - you don't like to love them, you don't have to listen to them, but you must allow them to exist so long as they aren't actually harming you. (Your fucking feelings don't count. Grow up.) But when you allow one group that is harmful, but not another due to pressure from students, then you should anticipate refunding the students you've alienated. You're choosing sides and becoming political in an educational forum.
Booting those kinds out would get the message across.
'Those kinds' change every generation. You would be putting rules in place today that could be used against you in a few years. That's a bad idea.

I think you mean tuition, not loan money. Colleges that don't expel the riotous twerps should have to refund the grant money too.

I hope that shit like this is the catalyst for the education bubble to pop.
