A lot of people are wondering if the article is a joke. It was meant as satire that highlights the fact that he is a hypocrite. Spouts about the environment and that weird gender spectrum pseudo science meanwhile he takes money from companies like unilever to promote chemical based laundry detergents. He claims to be an environmentalist yet takes money from unilever who had to pay out a pile of cash in Indian workers at one of its plants for MERCURY poisoning. Unilever India Mercury Poisoning
I merely did the same thing Bill does to kind of highlight his hypocrisy hence no links..
I was hoping more people would get that when they saw the first toxic chemical on the list was water lol

Slippery slope. Nye first came back to the scene preaching bullshit. Now that the seed has been implanted that fake = reality, on his show, advertisers can use his credentials to push products. You see this time and time again(Bond movies promoting Rolex, Aston Martin, Federer pushing Gilette, etc)

Since when is "Water" toxic to aquatic life?

Just normal water?

Yes. Anything is toxic in a high enough dosage. Water, oxygen, nitrogen, pretty much anything. I'm pretty sure the article is taking the piss out of Bill Nye's hypey style of pseudoscience journalism.

Their joke is that anything is toxic in large enough quanities. So is water, it actually poisons you if you somehow manage to drink enough of it. Although you'll probably rupture some of your organs first.
They're just using the same kind of sciency sounding hype Bill Nye does against him.

It'll kill you if you breathe it.
Not even in large quantities.
