But for real, is there a corporate culture at a megalithic corporation that doesn't suck at least a little? It's kind of the default

Doubtful. Maybe Fox News before Ailes died and Fox in general before the Murdochs got their titties in a vise?

Thing about Google is they think they're so superior to everyone else. And those in administration thinks its them.

And not all the techs, and the special public arena access Google has because it's a NGO of the Defense Industry.

They're called xits now.

Tits has been removed from acceptable slang now. It's too gender specific and supportive of white male patriarchy.

Is that pronounced "zits"?

I can't think of those "Diversity Officers" as anything else but pests infesting corporate body.

They are de facto ideological indoctrination officers. Soviets used to have them in the army too, they were called "Politruks" (Political Leaders/Managers"). An organization that thinks that it needs such people is a sick organization.

It's to lower liability of getting sued. They are a liaison for the SJWs so management doesn't have to deal with an employee complaining they didn't get promoted because they are black, or their team is too white.

They have whole sections of just Indian woman in certain buildings, complete with vegetarian only cafeteria.

My biggest problem with Diversity Officers and the concept of "diversity is strength" is this:

Where was all of this diversity when industry giants like GE, Microsoft, Google, Facebook, etc. were taking off? If diversity is such strength, then every company should start with a diversity officer to make sure they have the strongest group of people and thus best chance at success.

But no, it's not until these companies are enormous and successful that some asshat comes in and says "you don't have enough blacks/women/hispanics" or "you have too many whites/asians/indians."

They are parasites, plain and simple. Some companies tolerate them, some fold because of them, but at the end of the day they're a detriment to the health of a business.

And all these diversity requirements make it impossible for new competition to spring up against these companies

The problem with diversity is strength is that these companies exist because of sound economics. There is a greater number of white males and asians in tech simply because they are proportionally a larger population of the skilled workers. If they really cared they would be driving for software enegineering education programs in jails, abortion clinics, rehab, hair salons, and genital reassignment centers

I wonder if the same thing is true of countries and societies at large. A hegemony and golden age are created then eventually rot sets in. Is this the rot? Is it because times are too easy and people complacent?

Sick indeed.

Is it really optional for a company like Google?

Or is it something they're "asked" to have, to keep the various mullahs of city, county, state, national, and international authority off their backs?

What's sick is the kind of people who take such jobs literally. As if it were equally important for a company to be "diverse." As it is to deliver an actual good or service your customers are willing to pay for.

Give them some credit, they work at Google. They would have set up webcams for this.

Not if it was one of their secret meetings about preferred hiring of minorities. They made sure not to record those because you know, they're not doing anything wrong.

The Reptillian distortion field generators render the cams inoperable.
