Whatever you do in your own home and don't ask me as taxpayer to pay for your negligence (police, ambulance, doctors, emergency responders, and families on the road who get injured)...I'm ok...but until you lose a loved one who was killed due to anyone under influence of these "judgement retarders", you will **never **understand or appreciate their dangers!

They're afraid that people will turn to pot. The problem really comes down to amount of use. When you go to a bar, you can easily have 5-6 drinks. Going with friends? Double or triple that. At $5 to $10 a pop, they're making a shit ton. Now when you smoke pot or have an edible, you can be good for a few hours. So how much can they charge for that? Big Alcohol is worried that their world is going to get rocked as people's views on pot change and it becomes more widely adopted.
The proof is in the pudding: https://smallbiztrends.com/2016/12/legalized-marijuana-impacts-alcohol-sales.html
