I agree the line is thin as when to decide to prevent or ban users from commenting on any site. In her case, she should be the one setting it to private, not the site's owners. Just like we're talking about it here, whomever does it get's the derision. It's one reason I'm glad Voat is as small as it is. Our rules we appreciate here wouldn't scale to their size easily. New frontiers, new questions and rules.

I agree with your overall sentiment.
I missed this part. I thought she did. Sometimes I dont reed gud. When you talk about scaling, I wonder if there's a point when this becomes sensible for a platform. Obviously DDOS is one threshold.

Isn't that the whole free speech battle/question the world's societies are/have been fighting in a smaller example? Who gets to decide what is allowed by whom in the "world" they control.
