Lawyers say Williams entered the criminal justice system in Arkansas weighing 195 pounds, but has since gained 200 pounds after 20 years in solitary confinement.

WTF? What is the prison feeding that guy?

Fucking GOOD. Let it be fucking painful for him. Who cares if it's painless for a guilty man when he raped, beaten, and choked a mother of 2. Fucking piece of shit filth. Save fluid and just hang the nigger.

It should be raped to death like the woman it killed.

Edit: apparently he was indeed executed by lethal injection- http://katv.com/news/local/arkansas-death-row-inmate-marcel-williams-executed

Lethal Injection and Electrocution are bad means of execution anyway. A bullet to the back of the head certainly is more expedient and cheap, but lacks the dignity associated with a moral and just punishment under a system of law. Executions, to meet the 8th amendment standard, should be done by inert gas suffocation. A gas chamber in which nitrogen, argon, or other inert gas is pumped would provide a painless death. The prisoner wouldn't even know he was dying. Cheap, efficient, clean, and most importantly, humane (as far as executions go, anyway).

Reminds me of the scene in "Man in high castle".

Gas chamber is too expensive. Can't they use helium bag tricks?

Gotta save those shekels

Throw them off a cliff and let the coyotes clean up the mess. It's free and it's fast.

Well, I mean, if you use Argon you could just pump it directly into their cell, since most have full doors these days. Since its heavier than air it'll just push all the oxygen up and out.

There is a commissary where you can get supplements to meals like pastries, chips, and noodles.

I came here to find this out. If I was the Warren, no commissary, no food from the outside, everyone gets rationed meals. 100% normal weight inmates guaranteed.

A single bullet and good aim will solve that problem expediently. Next. We're too soft.

To be fair, cruel and unusual punishments are a human rights violation.

Good thing fats aren't human.

Also, I don't think "a slow, agonizing death experienced as suffocation" is an unusual life outcome for fat people, so I don't understand how it can be considered a cruel and unusual punishment for them.

Fat people already die a slow horrible death as their organs shut down one by one. If anything, this is speeding up the process and putting them out of their misery more quickly.
