They're not people. Why the fuck do people keep bringing this up?

I have never heard anyone in my life say that corporations are people. They are legal entities, not even close to the same thing.

No, you're right. If corporations are people then they shouldn't be able to be bought and sold. You're exactly right. But hang on now, aren't corporations also taxed? Are they not taxed and then the shareholders again taxed?

It's a double edged sword and you people made your choice years ago. You weren't happy just taxing the people who made a profit, you also needed to tax the business. NOW LIVE WITH IT and next time think a little harder about what you're asking for.

Because people have been bought and sold long before there were corporations.

If corporations are people

Corporations are NOT people. Corporations are virtual machines existing in the legal meta-space.

They were essentially invented to separate business from individuals. That is their primary purpose. They are a thing of their own kind.

because its advantageous for them. People need to be slaves, and business can't make this possible without appearing to suffer the same fate. Slavery is completely legal and we encourage it every day by buying from walmart. no one will really stand up against it.
