I'm not disputing that point with you. But many of the people showing up at campus, should never be there. This also causes them to make poor choices. Most people male and female just flat don't have the mental horsepower to make it in the STEM subjects. So, they take gender studies and women's studies blah blah blah and get brainwashed by the useless leftists that teach all that nonsense.

Absolutely agree. Maybe I should have been one of them. Looking back I wouldn't mind doing trade school. It's not just mental horsepower. It's enjoyment and the fact that there is openly available work in some of the fields you mentioned, and ADD.

I'm 55 years old. When I was in high school my senior year (1980) I had a friend that was an apprentice plumber, he made $18000 that year. I worked in a service station I made $6000. And I thought I got well paid. When he graduated his dad, who was also a plumber, gave him a work van equipped with everything he needed. He took his licensing test, passed it and he was in business. I thought, yeah but that's a really shitty job, literally. But he's retired and I'm still working.
