Medium-chain fats you can easily turn into hormones. You don't get that as much from other food sources. Sex hormones can rebuild after endocrine disruptors like you find in plastic, soy (...and beer). Adrenal glands can rebuild after stressful days (sounds like that would help you!) Helps you feel full.

Also it's just good to cook with. I'll pan-fry hot dogs with it.
