After illegal aliens have documents what are we supposed expected to call them, so not to offend anyone? I'm betting something to do with resident like, "Resident Immigrant" or "Resident Worker."

Then they become documented migrants, and the difference between legal/illegal immigration will become null and void. This is why changing the language is so dangerous

True, true, true. Resident Alien and Non-resident Alien are legal definitions which have real world ramifications and not simply hurt feelings.

Just because a government entity acknowledges your existence does not mean you are a citizen or anything more than an illegal alien, in this example.

If an undocumented person is going to drive, which they are, it's better that they are licensed. Take it from someone whose car was totaled by an undocumented driver.

No, it really isn't better. It institutionalizes the message to the world that there is nothing wrong with being illegal. Going into a DMV without proof you have a legal right to be in the US should result in deportation, not being treated like someone who is legal. The more comfortable you make illegals the more illegals you will have. It is no different than any other governmental benefit.

I don't give a crap about the illegals. They drive. All the time, because the live and work here. Right? If they don't have a driver's license, every accident they're in becomes a hit-and-run.
