Driving is a privilege, not a right. If a person can conduct themselves safely, then they have no right to be on the road. They're rights end when they infringe on others safety. If a person is texting while driving, they are ignoring others rights. And it is only a minor inconvenience to wait until they are pulled over to read and respond.

What's your justification for the notion that driving is a privilege? Who has the authority to say I can't drive and what gives them that authority?
