Hello, again.

Good work! It's an improvement!

The Sidebar

As you feared, yes, the text is somewhat hard to read. A good trick to good contrast is to make text and backgrounds complimentary colors; opposites. The complimentary color to maley root is light blue. However, usually complex backgrounds, like the maley root, shouldn't be used for bulk text since it is distracting. It'll go great with buttons, though!

The green/yellow gradient looks odd. Typically, it's a good idea to stick with as few colors as possible. Yellow goes great with blue, so, perhaps, the entire sidebar should be yellow or similar.

The objects — search box, buttons, etc. — look cut off on the edges with the contrast between the sidebar and blue background. Adding padding to the sidebar would easen up things a bit.

The Header

Good job on the header! The black border in between the header and the rest of the page looks nice. Also, the 'Australia' next to the flag is a good place for it to be.

Miscellaneous

The bold text everywhere makes the text hard to follow. It's good for headings, but bulk text shouldn't be bold.

Well, that's all I can think of now. Great work, anyhow.

Also, to separate families of text from others is to be more specific with the definitions. Each definition exists inside a scope, no matter how specific or broad it is. For example, let's say we want to change a text color:

body {
    color: green;
}

This will affect all text on the page because body is in a scope that spans the entire page. Let's get more specific:

.side {
    color: green;
}

Now, we're only affecting text inside the sidebar scope. Even more specific:

.side .titlebox {
    color: green;
}

This will only affect text inside the titlebox scope (which has the page name, description, subscribers, etc.), which is inside the sidebar scope, which is inside the body scope.

You can think of it like how laws are in each country. National laws span across the entire country. State/territory laws only exist within the states/territories inside the country. Finally, city laws are only applicable within the city's borders. Yet, all of the national and state/territory laws still affect the city:

+- Country ---------------------------------------+
|                                                 |
| +- Territory 1 -------------+ +- Territory 2 -+ |
| |                           | |               | |
| | +- City 1 -+ +- City 2 -+ | | +- City 3 -+  | |
| | |          | |          | | | |          |  | |
| | +----------+ +----------+ | | +----------+  | |
| |                           | |               | |
| +---------------------------+ +---------------+ |
|                                                 |
+-------------------------------------------------+

So, to solve your problem, try to be as specific as possible with your definitions so they only affect what you want.
