I kind of see where it came from when one considers primitive life. But the sexbots are going to take the pussy monopoly away from women. I'm not sure how I feel about that, and I'm a man.

What does that even mean?
Typically to get laid I just meet them, we get to know each other, we go out a bit (splitting the tab, if any cost), if we get along we do a date at home, then we fuck.

Why would you spend money on women? I never do this and still get laid. They can buy their own booze.

Bingo! Don't pay unless you live with them.

Its the oldest occupation. Men went out and about and time to chase a procreation device necessitated goats, sheep or that lady in town.
Life as a man is tough.

My guess is it come from an older time when men would do manly stuff for women like change the oil in their car, fix stuff around the house that needs it, and other various chores that are considered man stuff along with paying for everything on the dates. They considered this paying for sex. I understand that boys don't do that these days but real men still do

I normally won't do any of that stuff for a woman until we're already fucking and I really care about her. And then I'm just doing it because I care. Do guys really run around doing things for random women in hopes of pussy?
[–] MrWicked 0 points 2 points 2 points (+2|-0) ago
Some do but I imagine most are the same as you. They still consider it paying for pussy because they have to invest their time and possibly a little cash to get these things done and time is money. Most married guys I know say go pay a hooker for pussy because it's cheaper and doesn't take up as much time.

Sexworker here.
The idea is empirically true. Female clients are rare. They do exist, but they're 100 times rarer than men.
Sure, women "like" sex more than men, but they don't pursue it in the same way. For women, sex is more about connection and intimacy, about bonding, whereas men have that third leg that just plain needs attention.
Your arguments about disposable income don't really apply.
