If you establish a proper training regimen they're fine. My pitty won't pull because he looks to me for direction. I could hold him if need be, but he knows not to act up.

Pittys are the most eager to please dogs in the world. They just want their people to be happy. If you're heavy with the positive reinforcement they'll act like little angels.

Really though. I found that out when I had our old lab out on the lawn on a leash. He seen my dad walk out of the house (that dog loved my dad) and ran full tilt but I would not let go of the leash. He dragged me on the lawn about 10 feet before I let go. Talk about grass stains. Never did take him out again. He was just too strong for me.
