In North Korea, ‘Surgical Strike’ Could Spin Into ‘Worst Kind of Fighting’ - The New York Times
'Kim could order a limited response, by hitting a base near the Demilitarized Zone, for example, and then pausing before doing more. '
'There are perhaps 1,000 such weapons near the Demilitarized Zone, many hidden in caves, tunnels and bunkers. '
' But Joseph S. Bermudez Jr., a North Korea expert at AllSource Analysis, a defense intelligence consultancy, said it was more likely to use missiles to target military installations, including American bases in Japan. '
'North and South Korea, separated by the world’s most heavily armed border, have had more than half a century to prepare for a resumption of the war that was suspended in 1953. '
'In 2010, North Korean forces fired about 170 shells at an island in the South, killing two civilians and two soldiers. '

it might have to happen, we cant let that fat cunt keep going with nukes, 90%+ of people in the US die withing 1 yr if they detonate one over the atmosphere

Detonating over the atmosphere is not as bad as detonating it within the atmosphere.

I've been reading reports that even the North Korean people are getting sick of Kim's shit. I imagine that this was the case under previous leadership, but suppression in these modern times lacks efficacy. I still have little hope for the optimal solution of the North Korean people rising up and overthrowing this regime, sadly.
