Someone needs to compare this to asking for Trump's tax returns.

Not really.
The possibility of millions of illegals voting is more impactful that whatever might be contained in Trump's returns.

So THIS is what we're supposed to be distracted from as the media covers the President's tweet about some bimbo.

So it's alright to try and ''legitimize'' false claims about Trump and Russia hacking the election... or ''cheating'', but if it's for HIllary.. nah that's alright.
Sides, anyone with a brain would know that CA is fucked up. Who knows how many conservatives don't even bother voting in CA because of how lines are drawn and how many leftists are in CA. They constantly claimed that Hillary won the popular vote, but that's just because the voting system is rigged horribly in many leftist states... so why bother voting?

Well this is extremely suspicious. I hope the Trump admin doesn't let them off easy.

Read The Signs on Twitter: "CA won't release voter data. "Would only 'legitimize' false claims of massive election cheating." They mean PROVE? t.co/VePRoUCQvv"

He may mean prove but I think ultimately he used poor word choice and what he meant to use is the word compliant.
