THIS is why I will never stop being a "pedantic little grammar nazi." This statement actually says that the author DOES blame the father for building a wall around his property, which is obviously the exact opposite of what was meant. What's worse is that this blatant mistake was overlooked, missed, or just not understood by whatever "editor" that website has.
It's a simple truth: if you write like a dumbass, people will think you're a dumbass. If you want people to take your words seriously, you need to take them seriously first. #GrammarLivesMatter

What's obvious is that no functional person would type the opposite of their intended message. So he DOES blame the father. That's what he just said. Why would you not believe him? Look, there's some sort of mental malfunction going on there. He's the kind of person who says the opposite of what they mean... Or he's malfunctioning in his logic and consistency circuits. Either way, your word is your bond.
