Nationalism isn't about us vs. them, it's about the people. The definition of nation has been confused with country, but nation really means "A historically constituted, stable community of people, formed on the basis of a common language, territory, economic life, ethnicity and/or psychological make-up manifested in a common culture." https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/nation. So in a sense, a nationalism is for the nation, i.e the people.
Nationalism isn't about class struggle, nationalism is about unity. If the upper class mistreats and disrespects the lower class, this is sowing disunity. We believe that culture is more important than class.
Capitalism is a different matter. Most of us who don't like capitalism means we dislike primacy of capital because we are for the nation. National interests come before corporate interests, the people before profit. I'm not opposed to a market economy, but I am opposed to laissez-faire.
I would be happy to answer any other questions you have.
