At the risk of being downvoted, I agree. For a headline that would have been more suitable wording.

Yeah I agree, I thought he (Falcon) might address what you're talking about and clear that up.

I was simply making a comment from a copywriter (ad writer) standpoint, when you write a headline, it has to be unambiguous as possible to grab the reader's attention and understanding quickly, esp in this interweb day and age, has to be almost like a billboard, so that "he that runs may read."

I wonder if that's why he's so "quiet," never thought of that (English as a first language). His attitude toward OP was a bit much that's for sure.

Thanks, I should have made myself clearer or just left it alone.

Edit: The comment he wrote defending himself sounds "American" enough but who knows. A lot of people on here sound American for a while till they spell something differently like colour instead of color, etc.

Who would critique wording? A shill or an idiot, and you are no shill.

The problem is not with the word "proponent". The problem is with the phrase "anti-human trafficking".

Also, although nobody said anything about "proponent" not being a word, or not understanding the word, saying that someone doesn't know a language because they are not familiar with one single word from the language is pretty ridiculous. I'm sure there are many english words that you don't know. What makes this one word the deciding factor which determines if one 'knows' the language or not?

Big deal. Should we point out something like that just to make the OP feel like shit? We got the point.

I didn't point it out. My reply was to morojax, who was calling out the mod for being illiterate and not knowing english. But those claims were unfounded, based on the original statement. Sure, the dude might be a shill or a pedo, and if so, then he deserves to die. But I still agree that the headline was poorly written.

Well he's wrong too. My point was that the headline being poorly written didn't need to be said. Maybe they did the best they could. There are even people who post and comment that are from other countries.

I just don't think it's right to be downing a fellow voater over a grammar problem. It's things like this that make some people choose to not even post. You saying that you agree with what Morojax said makes it just as wrong.
