You live in paradise. If I can ever have a piece of property even half as nice, I will consider my life well-lived. Thanks for sharing.

The amount of permaculturing on your block is making me green with envy :)

This looks amazing!
Where is it? (be as precise or vague as you feel comfortable)

Way too late for that. The entire town is full of it. I knocked mine down to ground level, and cut back the limbs for wattle in fall.
I'm keeping them contained currently, until some newly planted maples can get going, but with neighbors on all four sides raining ailanthus, elm, catalpa, and cottonwood seeds down, I'm working with it until hardwoods can shade everything out.

Wow, just wow. How long you been growing?

A few perennials I've been growing for a few years(trees and shrubs mostly). Everything else I planted was started from this January(pretty much everything available from Baker Creek Seeds). A bunch of cheap shop lights with good bulbs, a framing 2x4 shelf, and styrofoam coffee cups to grow in. A few things, like berry bushes and rhubarb were bought bare root from nursery supply warehouses(nourse, bluestone, some from a friend who owns a tree farm). Everything went in the ground starting mid April of this year.

Wow. This is your first year gardening then?
