A few perennials I've been growing for a few years(trees and shrubs mostly). Everything else I planted was started from this January(pretty much everything available from Baker Creek Seeds). A bunch of cheap shop lights with good bulbs, a framing 2x4 shelf, and styrofoam coffee cups to grow in. A few things, like berry bushes and rhubarb were bought bare root from nursery supply warehouses(nourse, bluestone, some from a friend who owns a tree farm). Everything went in the ground starting mid April of this year.

You live in paradise. If I can ever have a piece of property even half as nice, I will consider my life well-lived. Thanks for sharing.

What a lovely property. You must be very proud. I must admit, I am a bit jealous. ;)

That is nice. I have an idea like this. I am in the process of a new house (first timer) and it has a hill in the back that leads water into the east side of the house, so to prevent some of that I want to dig a ditch and funnel the water around my yard which will be garden-esque.

Thanks for the ideas!
