As found in the sidebar: Live Banned Hostnames/Domains List
Blogspot.com and foxsports.com have not been banned. Amazon.com was being abused by commercial vendors and the domain *.ru was banned when the site was overrun with an onslaught of spam.
Many find that using an archive service, such as archive.is, to make a post or comment as useful when ever a banned domain needs to be referenced for conversation or entertainment purposes.
However, if it appears that the archive link has been created to avoid a banned domain for sales or promotional purposes, a user's account could be subject to review.

How did you come to the reasoning that foxsports and blogspot are banned?

I have gone though voat's old posts in sub forums, some of the bans have since been reversed. For example a youtube alternative dailymotion was BANNED by voat....I think what's happening here is the 'spam report' system is being abused...for example if some alt-Leftist Hillary shills want to get a vid for her spazzing out removed from youtube it is easily done as youtube now follows Zuckerberg's facebook in way of censorship....but banning on other video platforms like dailymotion is not so easy it takes longer. The easiest way for them would be to go into voat and reddit etc and politically get entire domains blocked as 'spam' did you know voat and reddit also block vk.com one of the largest websites in Russia, Canada, Estonia, England, Belarus, France, Estonia etc It is the third most popular social network in the world only behind Facebook and Twitter and voat blocked it.

From what I've seen its more inexperience dealing with spam and throwing out the baby with the bathwater because of lack of staff to deal with heavy spammers from certain sites so they just get blanket ban from trouble spots. You don't sound like an idiot so perhaps you can help out in some way. Maybe there is a way to block the sub-domain instead of the whole domain in the case of something like Vk.com. It's what I did when I noticed launchpad was banned. I tracked down the offending subdomain the spammers were working from and now that's banned and the main domain is open.
