There's an old japanese phrase "when the wind blows the coopers profit". Dust makes people blind so they find work as street musicians, those instruments are strung with catgut so we see a rise in rats. The rats chew holes in barrels so the cooper has to make more. Basically tragedy causes unexpected people to profit.
